Role: GitHub Actions Migration Developer

Location:

• Plano, TX or Seattle, WA
• 100% Remote only for Senior-level candidates who can manage workload independently

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in migrating artifacts assigned to Quotabotz from Bamboo to GitHub Actions.
• Migration primarily involves Spring Boot / Java artifacts, with some Cache and Node applications.
• Support miscellaneous applications (Angular, ApigeeX, Kafka, Python, etc.) and additional Spring Boot / Java apps.
• Define GitHub Actions Workflow Requirements: Build, Test, Lint, Deploy, Artifact handling, Notifications, and environment testing.
• Translate existing logic into .github/workflows, modularise workflows using composite actions and reusable workflows, and implement job conditions.
• Use GitHub Actions migration tool to transfer secrets, update workflows, and validate credentials in AWS.
• Collaborate with engineering team during pull request approvals and post-validation steps.
• Communicate obstacles and updates throughout the migration process.
• Assist in transitioning workflows and support developers in using new pipelines.

Must have experience in Agile Scrum processes with strong communication skills.
