Job Title: QA Automation Test Engineer II (100% Remote - USA)

6 Month Contract to Hire

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative QA Automation Test Engineer II to join our dynamic and agile team focused on delivering high-quality automation for web portals and API components.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts, executing backend and API testing, and participating in Agile ceremonies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and system stability across various platforms and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web applications and APIs.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and fellow QA engineers in Agile/Scrum processes.
Perform backend testing using Postman, ReadyAPI, and log analysis tools.
Validate Swagger/OpenAPI specs and test RESTful APIs.
Contribute to CI/CD workflows using Git, GitLab, and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
Use tools such as JIRA, QTest, Confluence, Snagit, and Adobe Experience Platform Debugger to manage quality processes.

Must-Have Skills:

7+ years of QA experience, including strong manual and API testing expertise.
Proficiency with Postman, ReadyAPI, SQL, REST APIs, and backend test automation.
Familiarity with Kafka, MongoDB, log file analysis, and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to automation frameworks and concepts (e.g., Cypress).
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, adaptable mindset.
