Job summary

Reliant Health Partners, LLC is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions for the claims processing platform.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA to develop test strategies from JIRA stories and acceptance criteria, and to build scalable automation frameworks across web, API, and system testing. The role emphasizes reducing manual testing and delivering high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a focus on test automation.
• Intermediate level experience with SQL and database validation.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience testing healthcare, claims processing, or other enterprise applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review Jira stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to develop test plans and cases.
• Design test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive and high-value tests.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement discussions to ensure testability.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement automation testing framework and tools.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and system testing.
• Build and maintain reusable automation libraries and standards.
• Expand automation coverage to reduce manual testing and improve release quality.
• Maintain automated tests as application evolves.
• Execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites.
• Perform manual testing when automation is not practical or during new feature development.
