Job summary

A global IT consulting firm is looking for a QA Automation Lead to design and maintain automated testing solutions, focusing on Playwright and API testing. The candidate should have strong experience in automation tools such as Postman and Rest Assured, and be adept with CI/CD integration using GitHub Actions and Jenkins. The ideal applicant will have over 10 years of expertise in QA automation, excellent communication skills, and experience in agile environments. This full-time position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on web and API testing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with onsite-offshore model.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for UI testing.
• Build and execute API test automation using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and API layers.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain and enhance existing UFT test suites as needed.
