Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, in Austin, TX, seeks a QA Automation Engineer to create automated test scripts, execute tests across web frontend and microservices, and collaborate with developers, product managers and the CI/CD pipeline.

You will apply Serenity, Selenium and Cucumber frameworks, perform REST/SOAP and SQL validations, and contribute to test planning and cross-functional teamwork within a large federal IT program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on automated test coding using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews.
• Executes test events (test plan, test scripts, schedule management, test report, test event).
• Documents and debriefs team members on test results.
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Work closely with developers, shared services team and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Drive test automation techniques with team members.
• Develop using Java and run automated tests on Web Front end and microservices.
• Run validations at DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI levels.
• Assist with Scrum team estimation including CI requirements.
• Contribute to cross-functional teamwork in Agile lifecycle.
