ServiceTrade is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer II to validate web apps, APIs, and AWS-backed services. You’ll drive automated quality across delivery, using Playwright, TypeScript/JS, and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Quality Engineering experience.
• 3+ years testing web applications, APIs, backend services, middleware, integrations, and data-driven workflows.
• 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Experience testing authentication, permissions, tenant boundaries, workflow state, data persistence, synchronization, error handling, retries, and downstream behavior.

Responsibilities

• Validate web applications, APIs, middleware workflows, data flows, permissions, integrations, and AWS-backed services.
• Build automated quality into every stage of delivery using modern engineering practices and AI-assisted tools.
• Explain how to review, validate, and correct AI-generated output before using it in tests, code, or release decisions.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineers to ensure quality coverage across the release cycle.
