Job summary

valU is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and implement robust test automation for fintech products. You will develop automation scripts, run API and UI tests, and ensure software quality across releases.

You will collaborate with business analysts and developers to refine requirements, maintain the system test plan, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Strong Java knowledge and fintech testing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven QA/testing experience in fintech or payments is preferred.
• 1–3 years in a similar QC role.
• Strong knowledge of Java and API/UI automation.
• Experience with API testing tools and UI automation frameworks.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and testing within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation scripts.
• Follow test automation guidelines and best practices.
• Research issues in software through testing and document findings.
• Collaborate with BA and software developers to implement solutions.
• Maintain the system test plan and related documentation.
• Create comprehensive acceptance criteria for requirements/user stories.
• Design, implement, and assess automation and API tests to ensure product quality.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and new testing tools.
