Job summary

Signature IT World Inc is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and application testing.

You will build and maintain automation scripts, perform API testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines within an Agile/Scrum environment. A strong focus on defect identification and thorough reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA automation and SDET
• Strong API testing skills using REST/REST Assured or Postman
• Proficient SQL/database testing capabilities
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as TestNG/JUnit/PyTest
• Agile/Scrum experience and defect tracking using JIRA
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and application testing.
• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and QA in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed defect/test reports.
• Participate in test planning, test case creation, and QA strategy.
