Job summary

Epic Engineering & Consulting Group, LLC seeks an Automation Software Engineer to design, implement and improve automated test frameworks and scripts. You will verify defects, ensure scalable performance, and collaborate with delivery teams for successful implementations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years of QA/automation experience, with hands-on testing across web and API platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field.
• 24 months’ experience as a QA Engineer or related role.
• Experience with Selenium and TestNG for automation.
• Experience with performance testing and scalable automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify software to fix defects and improve performance and availability.
• Design and develop programs to support test-driven development across platforms.
• Identify and document defects and inconsistencies in software.
• Create Python scripts for web services and database queries to locate bottlenecks.
• Plan, execute and analyze test plans using TFS and Visual Studio
• Collaborate with clients and delivery teams during implementation
