Job summary

PTMA Financial Solutions is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our development team in Denver. You will design, build, and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, and database layers, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance of our internal and external applications.

You will work with Playwright or similar frameworks, write Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript scripts, run SQL queries against SQL Server and PostgreSQL, and contribute to load testing with tools like k6 while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate professional experience.
• 2-3 years of professional work experience.
• Experience writing automated UI tests with modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and data layers.
• Design and write automated test scripts using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Define test plans, acceptance criteria, and regression coverage with end-users and developers.
• Build reusable test utilities and libraries to improve maintainability.
• Validate API responses and perform load/performance testing using tools like k6.
• Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
