Job summary

PTMA Financial Solutions seeks a QA Automation Engineer to partner with developers and architects to ensure the quality and performance of internal and external web applications. You will design, build, and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, and data layers, writing scripts and validating data integrity to catch defects before production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate professional experience in a related field.
• 2-3 years of professional work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for PMA's web applications (UI, API, data layers).
• Design and write automated test scripts using Playwright or similar frameworks with data-driven tests.
• Define test plans, acceptance criteria, and regression coverage with input from end-users and developers.
• Build reusable test utilities, page objects, and libraries for maintainability.
• Validate API responses (REST/GraphQL) for correctness and performance; support load testing with k6.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Analyze test results and triage failures using HTML, Allure, or JUnit reports.
• Improve speed, reliability, and scalability of automated test suites.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
