Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a QA Automation Engineer for Brokerage/Financial Services to join the Charlotte, NC team. The role emphasizes hands-on test automation, API testing, AWS cloud services, and distributed applications.

Brokerage/financial services experience is preferred. The candidate will design scalable automation frameworks using Java, Python, Selenium, and Playwright, develop UI and API tests, validate serverless workflows, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA Automation experience, preferably within a brokerage or financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, distributed microservices, and enterprise integrations using Selenium and/or Playwright with Java and Python.
• Develop and execute UI automation tests using Playwright and Selenium for web-based brokerage and financial services applications.
• Develop and execute automated API tests for REST and SOAP services using REST Assured, Postman, and Karate.
• Validate serverless applications and event-driven workflows using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, and EventBridge.
• Perform end-to-end testing across distributed microservices, asynchronous messaging systems, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and data-driven automation frameworks that support continuous testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.
