Job summary

ApTask Global Workforce is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a 12-month contract with a major US airline in SeaTac, WA. The role focuses on designing and executing test cases, building and maintaining automated test scripts, and ensuring quality throughout the software lifecycle.

You'll perform smoke, functional, integration, UAT, and regression testing, collaborate with developers and analysts, and provide daily and weekly status reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform Smoke Testing, Functional Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Regression testing.
• Design and execute test cases.
• Prepare test specs according to use cases and manage review cycles.
• Review identified test cases and test execution results.
• Set up test data and configurations for UAT and Production support.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Provide daily and weekly status reporting.
• Participate in test design discussions, code reviews and root cause analysis.
• Define common test patterns, practices and methodologies.
• Coordinate testing for project work and milestones.
