About this role

With WRITER, you'll work closely with the product and engineering teams to ship a product relied upon daily by tens of thousands of users.

As a QA engineer, you’ll focus on key parts of the QA process, define quality KPIs and metrics, lead testing efforts, and drive automation strategies to maintain high quality standards for all releases.

Your responsibilities

1. Designing and developing automation frameworks: Creating scalable, maintainable test frameworks using languages like TypeScript and Python.

2. Performance and load testing: Ensuring application reliability and scalability under various conditions.

3. Creating and maintaining test scripts: Automating tests for integration, API, and end-to-end testing to validate functionality, performance, and security.

4. Implementing CI/CD integration: Embedding automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback.

5. Test planning and strategy: Developing comprehensive test plans, approaches, and data requirements.

6. Defect management: Tracking bugs, prioritizing issues, and collaborating with development teams for resolution.

7. Collaborating with development teams: Ensuring quality is integrated from the start through close collaboration.

8. Mentoring and guiding: Advising developers on unit testing best practices and fostering a quality-focused culture.

9. Research and innovation: Staying updated with the latest in test automation tools and methodologies.

Data quality testing for AI/ML

• Ensuring the quality, integrity, and representativeness of training and testing data for AI models.

• Creating specialized frameworks for evaluating AI and Machine Learning models, including Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Assessing AI-generated content for errors and inconsistencies, and ensuring it meets high standards and user expectations.

Is this you?

• 8+ years of QA engineering experience

• 5+ years of automated testing experience

• Proficiency in test automation with Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, and JavaScript

• Experience with UI automation frameworks
