The role involves leading audits, providing GxP consultation, and partnering with project teams to maintain high-quality standards in a fully onsite environment in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 2+ years QA experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of GxP and regional regulations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading audit projects.

  • Conduct and/or lead a variety of client, internal, or GxP audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Perform directed site audits, facility, vendor, and/or sub-contractor audits.
  • Provide GxP consultation and support to project teams and external clients.
  • Lead process audits and participate as co-auditor in complex system audits.
  • Perform other QA audits or activities, including database audits and clinical study report audits.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to operational departments on audit/QA topics.
  • Prepare and present audit findings at meetings.

Job Title: QA Auditor II

As a QA Auditor II, you will serve as a knowledgeable resource on audit or quality assurance subject matter, auditing various processes such as database audits, clinical study report audits, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct and/or lead a variety of client, internal, or GxP audits and regulatory inspections as requested by senior management.
  • Perform directed site audits, facility, vendor, and/or sub-contractor audits.
  • Provide GxP consultation and support to project teams and external clients.
  • Lead process audits and may participate as a co-auditor in more complex system audits.
  • Perform other types of QA audits or activities, including database audits, clinical study report audits, and sample results tables.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to operational departments on audit or quality assurance subject matter.
  • Prepare and present audit findings and/or other related information at departmental, internal operations, or client meetings.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • Previous QA experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, comparable to 2+ years.
  • Thorough knowledge of GxP and appropriate regional research regulations and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading a range of project-based or internal GxP audits and vendor audits to high standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and impact analysis abilities.
  • Solid experience in root cause analysis.
  • Above average negotiation and conflict management skills.
Work Environment

Work is performed in an office, laboratory, and/or a clinical environment. Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms is possible. Exposure to electrical office equipment is common. Personal protective equipment such as protective eyewear and garments is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.06 - $43.97/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
