Job summary

SFE, a Memphis-based technology services provider, seeks a QA Architect to lead enterprise QA strategy and automation modernization. You will design scalable test frameworks, drive AI-assisted testing initiatives, and shape quality across SDLC, CI/CD, and Agile teams.

The role focuses on implementing AI-driven testing, overseeing API, performance, and end-to-end testing, and mentoring global QA teams to raise quality standards while integrating with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and cloud AI services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building/deploying Generative AI and Agentic AI workflows.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) and cloud AI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).
• Experience with prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Advanced programming proficiency in Python and Java or C#.
• Deep expertise in web/mobile automation tools like Playwright and Selenium.
• Solid understanding of Git, Docker/Containers, and CI/CD pipeline integrations.
• Capability to build or integrate dedicated AI agents for Test Planning & Requirement Analysis, Test Script Generation, Test Execution & Self-Healing, and Reporting & Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, modular, and extensible test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, API ecosystems).
• Oversee all testing phases including unit, integration, regression, performance, and UAT.
• Embed automated test pipelines into enterprise CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Drive continuous optimization to compress test cycle times through intelligent parallel agent dispatch.
• Define coding standards, test coverage metrics, risk-based testing frameworks, and governance policies.
• Coach and upskill global quality engineering teams on modern automation principles and AI-assisted testing tools.
• Architect and implement collaborative AI agent networks using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Model Context Protocols tailored for QA workflows

Job Summary

• The QA Architect is responsible for defining and implementing the enterprise-wide Quality Assurance (QA) strategy, test architecture, and quality engineering standards to ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
• This role leads test automation strategy, framework design, functional and non-functional testing, API testing, performance testing, and end-to-end quality engineering initiatives.
• The QA Architect collaborates with development teams, business stakeholders, DevOps, and technology leaders to integrate quality practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery processes.
• The role also drives test automation modernization, risk-based testing, continuous testing, defect prevention, and quality metrics while evaluating emerging technologies, including AI-driven testing solutions, to improve test coverage, efficiency, and overall software quality.
