Job summary

Darden Restaurants Inc. is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to translate business requirements into executable tests and to generate test results ensuring production readiness of new software and patches.

The role involves collaborating with development, management and QA teams to ensure test coverage and release documentation is complete. The successful candidate will review requirements, design and execute tests, maintain HP ALM traceability, and contribute to continuous QA process

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software QA/QC
• 1+ years testing web-based applications
• Experience designing, executing and analyzing tests
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test documentation
• Ability to create repeatable tests and test components
• Proactive communication of issues and status

Responsibilities

• Review requirements with project teams for testability.
• Conduct test case reviews to ensure coverage.
• Create and maintain traceability using HP ALM.
• Author test scenarios and test cases from use cases and wireframes.
• Execute functional, integration and regression tests.
• Identify, report and track defects clearly.
• Analyze results for defect trends and improvements.
• Escalate issues and monitor project status.
• Provide timely QA documentation and reports.
• Research testing tools and trends to support objectives.
