Job summary

TempWorks Software is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Software Development Team. The QA Analyst will determine testing needs, document test plans, and perform manual testing across a complex product suite.

You will design test cases, identify gaps, and ensure quality through comprehensive regression testing and collaboration with engineers and analysts. Required 2+ years QA experience, SDLC understanding, and ability to read coded scripts (XML/SQL/JQuery).

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, or similar.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to read and understand coded test scripts such as XML, SQL, JQuery.
• Knowledge of hardware devices including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Experience with agile issue tracking systems (Azure DevOps, JIRA).
• Experience using test management tools (TestRail, Selenium, qTest).
• Organized with high attention to detail.
• Able to work in a collaborative, agile, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test cases with detailed goals, steps, and expected outcomes.
• Identify testing coverage gaps in product functionality, performance, accessibility, UI, and security.
• Act as sole QA representative for agile scrum team(s).
• Participate in backlog refinement and all scrum ceremonies.
• Plan testing needs and collaborate with the project team for continuous quality improvement.
• Create comprehensive test data covering all scenarios.
• Develop database queries to validate test results.
• Execute manual test cases and verify business requirements.
