Job summary

SOSi in Fort Belvoir, VA seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team on site supporting government customers. You will design and execute tests for Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate, ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance across Army and DoD programs.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, detailing defects, estimating testing effort, and guiding STLC activities across multiple IT projects while coordinating with developers and project managers.

Qualifications

Active security clearance in scope of Secret.
Baseline computing environment certifications (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND or SSCP).
Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in technical or business discipline.
3–5 years of software testing and QA experience.
Experience testing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
Knowledge of testing principles and best practices for enterprise apps.
Ability to design and execute functional and regression tests.
Familiarity with GOTS/COTS testing requirements.
Understanding of configuration management workflows and CCB processes.
Ability to estimate test effort for scheduling.
Experience managing testing phases across multiple IT projects.
Knowledge of the full STLC.
Ability to create and maintain test documentation and defect reports.
Strong analytical skills and data integrity validation in BI.
Good communication with developers and project managers.
Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute test cases for Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Validate functional, performance, integration, and security requirements.
Develop test plans and scripts from specifications.
Analyze results and document defects with actionable details.
Provide test effort estimates for project schedules.
Participate in requirement reviews to ensure coverage.
Conduct regression, functional, exploratory, and UAT testing as needed.
Ensure defects are tracked, verified, and retested prior to deployment.
Monitor quality metrics and escalate risks to management.
Validate data integrity and business rules in BI reports.
Coordinate with developers to clarify expectations and test outcomes.
Maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and quality reports.
Support testing across multiple IT projects and STLC phases.
Ensure deliverables meet Government standards and DoD compliance.
