Job summary

HSA Bank, a division of Santander Bank, N.A. is seeking an Analyst, IT Quality Assurance to perform manual testing on a micro-services banking platform built in AWS.

You will be embedded in a scrum team of 4-5 contributors and help plan sprints, refine requirements, and define acceptance criteria. The role involves writing test plans and cases, executing functional, performance, and regression tests, and reporting defects with clear reproduction steps.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years software testing experience, including writing test documents and reporting results.
• 1–2 years QA metrics experience (test coverage, defect density) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scrum team to plan sprint work and define acceptance criteria.
• Create test plans and test cases from user stories and design specs.
• Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
• Identify defects and report them with steps, screenshots and expected behavior.
• Collaborate with developers to prioritize and retest fixes.
• Update test artifacts with requirements changes.
• Communicate testing progress and risks to stakeholders.
