Qualifications

• 2+ years of manual software testing
• Minimum 1 year of banking/financial services QA/testing
• Hands-on HP ALM / Quality Center experience
• Manual testing of web and desktop applications
• Experience writing and executing test cases/test scripts
• Understanding of Waterfall SDLC
• Experience with defect identification, reporting, validation, and retesting
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Review business, technical, functional, and design requirements.
• Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts.
• Execute manual testing according to established test plans.
• Prepare and manage test data.
• Identify, document, validate, and retest defects.
• Verify application fixes and enhancements.
• Participate in requirements and project meetings.
• Communicate testing status, progress, and issues to QA leadership.
• Collaborate with developers and automation engineers when needed.
• Assist with post‑implementation and support testing.
• Help train testers on QA systems, applications, and tools.
