QA Analyst III
Menlo Park CA (3 days onsite)

As an QA Contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing and improving test processes, collaborating with engineering and QA leads, and supporting the delivery of high-quality features.
This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases for new and existing features.
- Reproduce, document, and triage bugs; work closely with engineering to drive resolution, and write and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Support QA leads in driving test strategy and test plan creation.
- Create and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics and test progress.
- Lead product and bug audits, analyzing and improving QA test coverage and identifying product improvement areas.
- Provide release readiness support for medium/small size features and lead test execution for small to medium-sized projects or features.
- Attend status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leads; work onsite as needed to collaborate directly with engineering and QA teams, ensuring product rigor.
- Support stealth projects that require a high level of diligence in execution.
- Run and lead innovative testing techniques such as benchmarking and battery testing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans, both manual and automation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics is a plus.
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with cross‑functional teams.
- Expertise with Python, JavaScript, SQL or similar.
Minimum Years of Experience: 5+
Must-Have Skills
- Manual + automation QA (strong fundamentals).
- Technical skills: ability to work with/around Python, JavaScript, SQL (or similar).
- Strong communication and independence in a fast‑paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Dashboarding and quality metrics experience.
- Benchmarking / battery testing exposure.
- Audit experience (product audits / bug audits).
