Job summary

Dreamscape Learn, a pioneer in immersive VR learning design in Culver City, seeks a QA Analyst to ensure quality and functionality of our cutting-edge educational VR platform.

You will develop and execute comprehensive test cases, perform hands-on manual testing of Unity-based VR apps, and validate internal tools and automation for seamless integration. This temporary backfill offers a dynamic team and growth in immersive education.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA analysis experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with test management tools like TestRail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Experience testing in-house tools and automation.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and requirements to develop detailed test cases.
• Perform manual testing of VR applications developed in Unity.
• Test in-house tools and automation to ensure they function correctly and integrate with our VR platform.
• Document and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure the overall quality of the product.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure alignment of quality objectives.
• Ensure the application functions as intended from a user perspective.
• Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA.

He will develop and execute comprehensive test cases, perform hands-on manual testing of VR applications built in Unity, and validate internal tools and automation for seamless integration.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving the future of virtual reality.

This is a temporary backfill intended to provide coverage while an employee is on a leave of absence.
