Barnes & Noble Education is seeking a QA Analyst I to support the quality and reliability of MBS applications. You will develop and execute test cases, document defects, and collaborate with teams to validate changes throughout the SDLC.

AI-assisted testing tools will be used to improve coverage and efficiency. The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality assurance testing principles and SDLC.
• Ability to develop and execute test cases and scripts from requirements.
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based systems, web applications, and databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts based on requirements and designs to validate changes.
• Perform testing across the software development life cycle including new features, enhancements, fixes, and releases.
• Analyze results, document defects, and communicate findings to teams for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand functionality and validate solutions.
• Assist with investigation and resolution of escalated Tier II issues.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test case development and execution.
