Job summary

Twia-2 is seeking a QA Analyst in Austin, TX. The role covers creating, analyzing and executing all test activities through the SDLC to ensure compliance with functional and quality standards.

The candidate should have a four-year degree in CS/IT or related discipline and at least 3 years of QA experience, including backend testing with MS SQL and experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related IT discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands on experience as a software Quality Assurance Analyst.
• Intermediate working experience in backend testing (MS SQL).
• Experience in Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Solid experience with defect tracking software and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design level discussions to understand requirements.
• Analyze user stories and requirements for validity and gaps.
• Create and manage test plans, cases and estimates.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across phases (system, end-to-end, regression).
• Document and track defects until resolution.
• Coordinate with team on test environment management and builds.
• Provide QA status reports to leads and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA team members.
