Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university. Each year of related experience over the required may be substituted for one year (30 semester hours) of required college credit.
• 7 years experience in progressively demanding quality assurance processes and techniques over the full software lifecycle.
• 5 years experience in testing PeopleSoft Pension, Benefits Administration and Financials.
• 4 years experience in testing SharePoint/K2.
• 4 years experience in testing .NET.
• 4 years experience in functionality testing using HP QuickTest Professional (QTP)/Unified Functional Testing (UFT) tool.
• 3 years experience in using SQL to create queries.
• Proficient in the use of VBScript.
• Understanding of Information Security and Artificial Intelligence concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans for complex computer applications.
• Review user requirements and resolve discrepancies and clarify processes.
• Write and edit detailed test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Use automated testing tools to perform functional, regression, and system tests.
• Mentor teammates on automated testing tools.
• Assist in coordinating all phases of testing.
• Assist users in User Acceptance Testing and verify results.
• Document expected and actual test results and log bugs in a tracking tool.
• Identify issues from testing and coordinate resolutions.
• Document test status, outcomes and metrics.
• Coordinate and verify sign-offs.
• Attend work regularly per agency policies.
• Comply with agency policies and safety standards.
• Perform on-call or after-hours work as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by QA Manager.
• Attend meetings and calls punctually.
