Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a QA Tester to write and execute manual and API test cases, validate results, and document defects with detailed steps. The role requires testing across SQL/MV databases and interacting with Jira for defect logging in a mortgage-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in manual and/or API software testing.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• 3+ years’ experience testing with SQL or multivalue databases.
• Mortgage industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test cases for enhancements and bugs.
• Execute test cases on local machines and emulated environments.
• Compare test results across environments and platforms.
• Interpret execution results to determine if a bug exists.
