Job summary

PLEXIS Healthcare Systems, Inc. in Medford, OR is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced QA Analyst to safeguard software quality across the SDLC. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, investigate defects, and validate AI-enabled features while ensuring accuracy and PHI handling.

You will work with AI tools daily to accelerate testing, while maintaining rigorous quality standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of QA or software testing experience, preferably in healthcare or health IT
• Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in technical work
• Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Experience in healthcare payer claims processing industry
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of SDLC and software development

Responsibilities

• Create manual and automated test cases and test case scripts
• Perform automated and manual testing, analyzing, and documenting results
• Document defects with detail, accuracy, and reproducibility
• Provide risk assessment throughout the SDLC
• Review artifacts and deliverables throughout the SDLC
• Map requirements to functional design elements and/or system workflows for test creation
• Troubleshoot complex setups to isolate, determine, and report defect root cause
• Review user documentation for accuracy of implemented functionality descriptions
• Use AI tools to draft test plans, test cases, and automation scripts from requirements and design artifacts
• Critically validate AI-generated output for accuracy and coverage gaps
• Use AI to speed up defect triage, log and results analysis
• Test AI-enabled features for accuracy and edge cases
• Follow policy on AI tools and PHI handling
• Share AI techniques with the team
• Ability to work from home as needed
