Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Analyst to perform hands-on software testing, data validation, and AI-assisted QA activities in Boston. You will develop and execute test cases, report defects, and collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure quality across applications.

Qualified candidates have 1–7 years of manual testing experience, strong SQL/XML skills, and familiarity with ALM and AI tools to enhance test design and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–7 years of experience in Software Testing / Manual QA.
• Hands-on experience with OpenText/HP ALM.
• Strong experience in data testing and data validation.
• Working knowledge of SQL and XML.
• Solid hands-on experience using AI tools in QA activities, such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve test case creation, test scenario generation, test data preparation, and test documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and defect-reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of applications to ensure functionality, quality, and reliability.
• Develop, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
• Use OpenText/HP ALM for test management, defect tracking, and test execution.
• Perform data validation and database testing using SQL and XML.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools in daily QA activities.
• Use Generative AI tools to improve test design, generate test scenarios, create test data, and accelerate test documentation.
• Validate AI-generated test cases and outputs for accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to resolve issues.
• Ensure testing activities follow established quality standards and project requirements.
