Job summary

Information Gateways Inc is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The role combines manual and automated testing, requiring strong analytical and communication skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The candidate will write SQL queries, develop and execute test plans, and ensure accessibility compliance per 508 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 5+ years of IT testing experience.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to resolve software issues.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries and conduct functional and regression testing within Jira.
• Identify and document business requirements as user stories and test them.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and testing procedures across the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Create and execute manual test scenarios and document defects using Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence.
• Utilize 508 accessibility testing tools to ensure compliance with Section 508 standards.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress.io) is a plus.
• Stay updated with testing tools, methodologies, and accessibility standards.
