Job summary

Mars is seeking a Quality & Food Safety partner to lead the QFS agenda for Roaster Portfolio projects. You will interact with site engineering teams and ensure compliance with Quality Management Processes to meet global standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and GFSI systems and a track record in food safety management across manufacturing. Mars emphasizes strong development, a supportive museum-style Mars University, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001:2008 and GFSI quality systems (SQF, BRC, FSSC22000).
• Experience with ISO 9001:2008, GMP, sanitation, pest control, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key QFS stakeholder for Roaster Portfolio projects ensuring adherence to Quality & Food Safety Standards and Regulations.
• Lead QFS input for engineering projects, CVS, Handover process, and PRP reviews.
• Define and oversee mitigation strategies to minimize risks (environmental monitoring, sampling, cleaning and sanitizing procedures).
• Lead QFS inputs for Asset Health Check, Change Management and Technical Risk Management.
• Deliver the quality agenda throughout the CVS process (coordination, management).
