Job summary

Mars Incorporated in the United States seeks a senior expert to lead as the face of R&D with External Manufacturing partners, ensuring products meet Mars QFS requirements and legal standards.

You will drive supplier development, audit External Manufacturers, and embed Mars principles while managing change and risk across the supply chain. Travel up to 40% is expected; a strong background in QA/FS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science/technology or related field.
• 3+ years in a Food Development/Manufacturing environment, with QA/FS and auditor experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP/GHP, FSSC22.000.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
• Proven project management and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate and embed MARS principles and culture.
• Partner with commercial to drive EMQFS performance and adherence to requirements.
• Develop supplier processes for new products at External Manufacturers.
• Collaborate to mitigate change management impacts on product quality and safety.
• Own PRIMP Incident Owner or NCMGT responsibilities.
• Lead and participate in External Manufacturer audits and continuous improvement actions.
