Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks an engineer/technician to run Python scripts against low-level hardware interfaces. You will develop and maintain hardware validation tests, translating requirements into test procedures with clear pass/fail criteria.

You’ll work independently, coordinate with product teams, and share best practices across the team. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS and strong Python for hardware automation, plus hands-on lab experience with

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for hardware automation, validation, and test development.
• Strong understanding of digital and embedded hardware systems and board-level debugging techniques.
• Hands-on experience with hardware test equipment and lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and debug Python-based hardware validation scripts for board-level testing.
• Translate hardware requirements into test procedures and pass/fail criteria.
• Own test development from design through lab execution and closure.
• Document setup instructions, known failure modes, and reusable troubleshooting playbooks.
• Use Git, code reviews, and basic CI/test execution workflows.
