**The Work:**

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Python Developer whose passion is building simple software that just works. You will be working with a team of engineers in a AWS microservices environment to solve interesting national security related problems using agile methodologies.

**Responsibilities include:**

+ Develop elegant code that solves interesting problems

+ Collaborate with other smart, driven engineers

+ Leverage AWS cloud services to provide scalability and reliability

+ See your software through to production deployment and use by real customers

+ Participates in code reviews to ensure code quality

**Here's what you need:**

+ 4 years of experience in software/system development

+ 4 years of experience specially with Python development

+ Bachelor's in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience

+ Top Secret clearance requirement

**Bonus points if you have:**

+ Interest In:

+ Multiple programming languages in addition to Python like Java or C#

+ Scaling systems on AWS

+ Experience with microservice architecture and containerization.

+ Experience with:

+ Working on a cross functional team

+ Amazon Web Services: Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS

+ DevOps best practices: Jenkins, CI/CD

+ Comfortable with:

+ Agile development

+ Customer feedback

+ Continuous Integration environments

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
