Client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Software Developer to join the Employee Applications team. As a Software Developer, we seek a self-motivated individual who excels in developing enterprise-grade web applications and integrations. Hands-on expertise in AWS serverless services and DevOps practices is required.

Role: Python Developer with AWS Lambda

Location: US/Canada - Remote

Contract Duration: 3-5 Months

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers) to design and implement new features.
• Develop front-end interfaces using modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Utilize AWS serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) to create efficient, cost-effective solutions.
• Implement DevOps best practices for CI/CD and automated testing.
• Maintain code quality through reviews and best practices.
• Create and update technical documentation, including system design and API docs.
• Support existing applications and identify opportunities for optimization in performance, security, and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Python and Java application development.
• Proven expertise in designing AWS serverless architectures.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS Lambda.
• Experience with AWS technologies like SAM, CloudFormation, SNS, S3.
• Strong skills in designing and building REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
