Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled Python Developer to contribute to high-impact projects focused on AI-driven personalization, fantasy sports, and data enrichment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a remote environment, demonstrate strong independent problem-solving capabilities, and possess excellent communication skills.

Core Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional team members to brainstorm, plan, and execute product roadmaps that align with strategic goals
• Independently contribute to development tasks and deliverables in a distributed team setup
• Actively participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies

Ongoing Projects & Focus Areas:

• Enhancing content through sports-related taxonomy and metadata enrichment
• Advancing AI-powered features for a fantasy sports platform
• Implementing user-centric personalization features across data and content layers

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Python development, especially for web-facing applications (greater experience required for senior roles)
• Strong background in server-side API development with a focus on scalability and high-performance architecture
• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns
• Familiarity with modern development infrastructure including CI/CD workflows, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Clear, maintainable coding practices with strong documentation habits
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset
• Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
• Must have exposure to AI-related projects; hands-on AI development experience is highly preferred
