Job summary

Atlas Tech in Charleston, SC is looking for a Python Developer to join our software engineering team supporting Navy tactical communication solutions. You will develop on Linux servers, automate tasks with Bash, and build Python applications while collaborating with DoD customers.

You will work with RHEL environments, containers, and virtualization, ensuring code quality, maintenance, and documentation. A DoD secret clearance and related certifications are highly valued, with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Experience with Python development and Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions on Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
• Work with container technologies (Docker/Podman).
• Instantiate and administer Red Hat virtual machines (KVM).
• Automate tasks using shell scripting (Bash).
• Develop applications using Python.
• Research and resolve software bugs.
• Maintain source code in Git repositories.
• Perform testbed demos and proofs of concept.
• Assist with software documentation and ECR requirements.
