GoReel is seeking a strong Python Developer to join our GameServer team. You will build and maintain high-load backend services for a scalable gaming platform, focusing on performance, reliability, and seamless API integrations with external operators.

You will design fault-tolerant systems, participate in architectural decisions, write clear documentation, and contribute to engineering best practices. The role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities to influence product direction.

Formación

• 4+ years of commercial Python experience.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience designing scalable backend systems.
• Good written English for documentation and communication.
• Languages: English (B2), Ukrainian (Proficient).
• Experience with non-relational databases (Cassandra, Redis/KeyDB).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with high-load or distributed systems.
• Production experience with monitoring, error tracking and observability tools.

We are looking for a strong Python Developer to join our GameServer team. You will work on a high-load gaming platform that processes gaming traffic and handles numerous API integrations with external operators. Your focus will be on developing and maintaining scalable backend services, improving system performance and reliability, and contributing to technical and architectural improvements. We’re looking for a proactive engineer who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is eager to contribute ideas that make our product better.
