GoReel is seeking a strong Python Developer to join the GameServer team in the United States. You will build and maintain scalable backend services for a high-load gaming platform, integrating with external operators and improving performance and reliability.

The role requires ownership, proactive problem solving, and a contribution mindset. You will work across architectural decisions and technical discussions, collaborating closely with teammates to deliver robust solutions.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of commercial Python experience.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL or similar.
• Experience designing scalable backend systems.
• Good written English for documentation and communication.
• Native Ukrainian (spoken and written).

We are looking for a strong Python Developer to join our GameServer team.

You will work on a high-load gaming platform that processes gaming traffic and handles numerous API integrations with external operators.

Your focus will be on developing and maintaining scalable backend services, improving system performance and reliability, and contributing to technical and architectural improvements.

We’re looking for a proactive engineer who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is eager to contribute ideas that make our product better.

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Python;
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures;
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar);
• Experience designing scalable backend systems;
• Good written English (for documentation and communication);
• Native Ukrainian (spoken and written).

Would be plus

• Experience with non-relational databases (Cassandra, Redis/KeyDB, etc.);
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience working with high-load or distributed systems;
• Production experience with monitoring, error tracking and observability tools;
• Experience designing and developing integrations with third-party services and APIs;
• Experience using AI tools to support software development workflows.
