Innova Solutions is hiring a Python Developer for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote). You will architect, design and implement scalable back-end systems with Python (Django/Flask) and Node.js, building RESTful APIs and microservices.

Ideal candidates have strong Python/Node.js skills, SQL and NoSQL experience, and cloud proficiency (AWS/Azure/GCP). Collaboration in Agile teams and mentoring junior developers is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python development, including Django and/or Flask.
• Proficiency in Node.js development.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis).
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Git.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Python Developer.

Title: Python Developer

Position type: Full Time – Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid- 03 days onsite and 02 days remote)

As a Python Developer, You will:

• Architect, design, and develop scalable back-end solutions using Python and Node.js
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side applications
• Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services into existing system architecture
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code
• Identify application performance bottlenecks and optimize solutions for speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex Software Engineering issues
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other technical stakeholders
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members
• Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and technical manuals
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing development processes and tools
• Contribute to large-scale Software Engineering planning and deliverables
• Collaborate with client personnel and both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proficiency in Python development, including Django and/or Flask
• Proficiency in Node.js development
• Understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience developing RESTful APIs
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience developing scalable server-side/back-end applications
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and/or Redis
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with DevOps practices
• Proficiency with Git and version control
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
• Proven testing and debugging skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $50/hr to $55/hr
