Job summary

Cloud and Things seeks a Python AWS Cloud Developer to support NYC client revenue/fare systems. Qualifications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver web apps.
• Write high-quality Python code for APIs and UI.
• Experience with web tech: AJAX/HTML/JS/CSS.
• Experience with Django and FastAPI frameworks.
• Cloud experience: AWS, API Gateway, IAM, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiar with financial or revenue applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python modules, web apps, and APIs for revenue/fare systems.
• Deploy real-time transaction capabilities for ticket validation.
• Build frontends for internal and customer apps.
• Participate in daily meetings, planning, reviews, stand-ups.
• Create tooling and documentation; contribute to code reviews.
• Estimate effort, prioritize features; assist release planning.
• Create user interfaces and test cross-browser/ cross-device compatibility.
• Test for accessibility and review designs with usability checks.
