Our client, a leading organization, is seeking a highly skilled Python Automation & DevOps Engineer to bolster their Security Engineering initiatives. Required Skills: Python scripting expertise, DevOps experience, Linux command-line proficiency, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), logging and monitoring tools (Grafana), Ansible, RESTful API integration, ETL pipeline development with PostgreSQL and MySQL, automation of deployments and configurations.
Nice to Have Skills: Background in Security Engineering or Cybersecurity, familiarity with security data sources and terminology, experience with security event workflows, working knowledge of security automation frameworks and internal tools.
Preferred Education and Experience: Demonstrated experience in building automation solutions, data ingestion pipelines, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. Prior security-related background is highly advantageous.
Other Requirements: This is a 12-month contract position requiring hybrid onsite presence four days a week. Candidates should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment with security teams, and possess a proactive problem-solving mindset.
