Job summary

Charm Industrial in Fort Lupton, CO is seeking an engineering technician to join a small team building and refining pyrolysis platforms. You will work with engineers to design, build, and test systems, while supporting ongoing operations with the B-Series fleet.

You will improve hardware reliability and performance through hands-on modification and data-driven feedback. The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on machinery experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot and learn

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on experience with machinery or heavy equipment.
• Proven ability to assemble/disassemble complex mechanical systems.
• Able to troubleshoot autonomously on the job.
• Willing to learn forklift and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pyrolyzers and component test rigs to increase understanding and reliability, documenting learnings to share with the Engineering team.
• Improve Standard Operating Procedures by providing written feedback to make them clearer and more effective.
• Serve as the eyes and ears of the Engineering team, providing insights when troubleshooting design and operation.
• Perform routine repairs on the pyrolyzer and associated equipment, coordinating with vendors to order components.
• Maintain a safe, clean test area and assist in safety improvements and practices.
• Record machine performance data for Operations and Engineering Development teams.
• Document work in Confluence/JIRA/Google Product Suite and help grow operating manuals.
