Job summary

Charm Industrial is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design the next generation of pyrolysis equipment at the Fort Lupton facility. You will create mechanical and electromechanical systems, select actuators and sensors, and work with a multi-disciplinary team to move designs from concept to production.

You will analyze, test, and commission hardware, while updating legacy systems and addressing production issues. A hands-on, collaborative approach and problem‑solving mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of seasoned mechanical design experience.
• Familiar with GD&T and basic fabrication techniques; proficient in creating and releasing drawings.
• Experience with electromechanical systems and hands-on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and electromechanical systems for production use.
• Develop test plans and commissioning campaigns for hardware.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and other mechanical engineers to integrate systems.
• Provide troubleshooting support for production machines with Operations.
• Update legacy systems and validate novel design pathways.
• Support on-call production issues when needed.
