Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment for the Manufacture, stripping, separation, drying, and loading of PVC resin within guidelines of the SOPs.
• Operates support equipment for the PVC process, including cooling towers and process water systems.
• Completes paperwork and inspections for shipment of bulk PVC cars and unloading of VCM monomer to storage.
• Performs routine data collection and records observations; responds to abnormalities.
• Maintains housekeeping in the PVC plant and disposes of waste per procedures.
• Completes other duties to meet Production Dept. goals safely and cost-effectively.
• Issues General Work Permits and prepares equipment for maintenance and contractor personnel.
