Job summary

The AZEK Group LLC is seeking an Extrusion Operator to safely set up, operate, and monitor PVC extrusion lines to produce high-quality products. Adhere to safety standards, SOPs, and OSW while maintaining productivity and quality.

Shift options include days and nights with a 10% differential for night work; starting pay is $19.00–$21.50 per hour, with a $2,100 sign-on bonus and $700 after one year based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating capped composite or PVC extrusion equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to accurately use precision measuring equipment (calipers, tape measures, Go/No-Go gauges).
• Understanding of Bills of Process (BOPs) and their importance for quality and consistency.
• Ability to perform Operator Standard Work (OSW) and follow documented work instructions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with standardized processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks on shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate PVC extrusion lines and maintain production and quality standards.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor extrusion equipment for consistent product performance.
• Perform dimensional/quality inspections using calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Follow Bills of Process (BOPs) and adhere to SOPs, OSW, and production standards.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime documentation.
• Keep work area clean and organized using 5S.
• Participate in Daily Management System meetings and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team, supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel to meet goals.
• Assist with changeovers, startups, shutdowns, and routine maintenance.
