Job summary

John Deere is seeking a Product Verification & Validation Engineer (Electric Machines) to join a collaborative engineering team in Fargo, ND. You’ll develop PV&V plans, perform tests and teardowns, and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years creating PV&V activities and schedules.
• Minimum 2 years for rotating components, electric machine design or testing.
• Experience with data acquisition equipment and instrumentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop PV&V plans and track progress against milestones.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to execute PV&V activities using lab tests and teardowns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Manage small- to mid-scale engineering projects per PM processes.
• Maintain technical documentation with version control.
• Coordinate distributed testing resources and travel up to 20%.
