Job summary

A leading renewable energy company is seeking a Solar Tech I in Amargosa Valley, NV. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and operations at solar generation sites. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in PV Solar and possess a high school diploma or GED. The position may require travel and the ability to respond to emergencies 24/7, while promoting safety and compliance with safety programs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years relevant experience in PV Solar or a related industry.
• Ability to work around low- and medium-voltage equipment.
• Ability and willingness to respond to site emergencies 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical component repair and replacement.
• Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM maintenance manuals.
• Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures.

Skills

Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to solve practical problems

Education

High school diploma or GED
