Job summary

Terra-Gen Operating Company LLC seeks a PV/BESS Technician I (Senior) to operate and maintain Edward/Sanborn projects in Mojave, CA. Responsibilities include commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and safety training for on-site personnel.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, 5+ years in utility-scale solar, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with rotating shifts and possible travel. A license and OSHA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/engineering certificate preferred.
• 5+ years of utility-scale solar plant experience.
• Journeyman or licensed industrial electrician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair DC/AC systems and data acquisition at PV/BESS facilities.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PV and ESS equipment.
• Document maintenance in CMMS and prepare reports for site management.
• Train on-site personnel and observe contractor work for safety and quality.
• Prepare switching orders and follow safety protocols, LOTO procedures.
