Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Charleston, SC is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support pursuits from strategy through proposal and presentations. You will collaborate with operations teams, project managers, and senior leaders to shape responses to RFQ/RFPs, edit content for quality, and transform narratives into compelling visuals using Microsoft Office 365 and Photoshop.

Sporadic travel (1–3 days).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 apps (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations and project teams on pursuits from strategy to proposal to presentations.
• Edit content for quality, accuracy, readability and consistency.
• Transform narrative text into visual/graphic responses for client pitches.
• Prepare teams for client presentations.
• Perform market research to support pursuit strategies.
